The Cascades Oracle by Lynda Stevens
The Cascades Oracle was compiled as an oracle in 2020, though the artworks were created at any time between 2005 to the present.
They are mixed-media pieces originally a4 in size, in which i let inspiration be guided as a process of psychic automatism.
It is hoped that the intense and flowing colours and geometric shapes will stimulate the intuition as well as lateral thinking in order to move past creative blocks.
This would be much in the spirit of the aid oblique strategies, though this method of problem solving was not known at the time this oracle was conceived.
