Try to find this peaceful scene within yourself today. It's not likely the outer world is going to provide it, so look inside. It's there. The peaceful sounds, the scented air, the gentle breeze in the trees and over the water. Every once in a while today, close your eyes and go there.

It's weird how stressed out working alone can be. You'd think in the absence of other people and their opinions etc, working alone would always be a breeze. But sometimes it feels really stressy and directionless. You procrastinate, feel sleepy, hungry, easily distracted and time just slips away making you even more stressed. Think really hard about the actual source of the stress. Do you need to formulate a clearer plan for yourself? Is there a specific part of the project that is making you uncomfortable? Figure out what it is. The point is to find out how/why you are stressing yourself, acknowledge and fix it.

There is an awakening happening that is long overdue. It is collective which means it is also individual. We have to support each other now as the scales fall from our eyes. These are not easy times but they are important ones. Some people have already been patient for a very long time waiting for the rest to catch up. Be grateful for that. Honour that. And greet your own awakening with joy and with gratitude.

Don't let yourself get too distracted from the things at hand today.

Dwelling too much on the past will prove unproductive if it becomes a distraction.

It's the things right in front of you that need and deserve your attention today.

You think you know what's going on but you need to look closer. Don't be satisfied with the superficial. Dig deeper. Ask for more.

Do your dreams seem far away? Don't let it frustrate you. The important thing is that you have a dream. You have something to strive for, to work toward. Never forget that the journey toward your dreams is your life.

The Little Soul's Party

We get so used to change that we sometimes fail to notice that even change, changes.

What used to work, doesn't anymore.
What used to be accepted isn't anymore, and what wasn't, is.

Keep up.
Pay attention, listen, observe.
See the change in yourself as you open up, as you make your place.

You are not a visitor here.
You are part of everything.

Things seem to be conspiring to throw you off balance but really it's the opposite. You are seeing things for how they really are and that is the first step toward true balance, a solid place to make your next move from. Don't be afraid of or upset by what you are being shown. Use it.

Think about something you've been overdoing lately and today make a real effort to put it aside and do something you've been under-doing.
(For me, scrolling through twitter comes to mind as over-doing!)

Highs and lows come and go and test your mettle, your spirit, your character, your resilience. Pay close attention to how your successes and failures affect you. Also, how the successes and failures of others affect you. This can be a very interesting journey if you really explore it and now may be a good time to do it.

28 September 2020: The Inner Mask Oracle by Kat Crow

The Inner Mask Oracle

We talk a lot about our shadow side. And the assumption we work off of most is that we are hiding some very negative things about ourselves from ourselves and we have to go digging to find and then deal with them.

Is it possible though that we also hide what's good about ourselves from ourselves?

Have you ever gotten a compliment from someone about your character that surprised you, in a good way? Is it possible that others can see something wonderful about you that you don't?

Try digging those things up, the beautiful things about you that you just don't see. And deal with those.

Japaridze Tarot
by Nino Japaridze

Time to gather up your spoils and ask yourself, "was it worth it?" Did I die on the right hills? Or did I just make things worse? Be objective and don't be too hard on yourself, but really consider where you might have been smarter, an/or more effective by not imposing your will or opinion on a situation and just allowing it to play out.

I once was on holiday with a friend who was intensely annoying. One day I noticed a stone in my shoe and as I was about to remove it, I decided to leave it and let it be a reminder the whole day to hold my temper, hold my tongue and not say or do anything I might later regret. It actually worked. Every time this person got on my nerves, it reminded me of the stone in my shoe and I would smile. I recall the day now fondly.

Majestic Earth Tarot

If it is at all possible for you, get out into nature today.
If it isn't, make a plan to soon, this weekend maybe.

Looking forward to it will be calming,

Even just a short walk will rejuvenate you right now, but if you can manage, spend some time with the woods, or the beach, a park, a garden.

Really do this for yourself.
It's important.

Be cautious about trying too hard, about actively seeking approval and acceptance. Let them come to you. And when they do, be generous with your spirit, with your love. The environment you create with this philosophy will be substantive, authentic last much longer.

Have an honest look at yourself. And where you see faults, acknowledge them. And then forgive yourself. It's how you can move forward and become your real self, free of the false self-image you've created. It's how you heal and develop the grace to be forgiven by others.

The Low Rider Dachshund Tarot
By Melissa Wotherspoon

It's difficult to know when the right time for something is. And in these uncertain times we live in it's even more difficult to gauge.

If you've decided to proceed with something despite your own doubts and apprehensions, you may be right or you may be wrong, but in either case you are showing a special kind of courage.

Like driving on ice.
It's a little terrifying, but you're used to doing things when you're a little terrified. Your character has been shaped by these acts of yours, by this courage you're able to muster and your ability to deal with results, whatever they are.
Focus on this very special quality of yours as you proceed.
