Question: Where do ideas come from?

Card: 4 of Water Who Can It Be Now? Men At Work

Answer: Ideas come from toil, the unknown, asking questions, and down under (the subconscious).

"Down under"? So I assume Men at Work were an Australian band. "Men at Work" usually appears on signs to hold back traffic, forbidding entry to the general public. So maybe new ideas appear only when commonly held notions are refused admittance.

boy, you really did live under a rock in the 80s. Men At Work were not only Australian, their biggest hit was literally called Down Under, all about the pitfalls of being an Aussie.

or maybe ideas appear when old systems (roads, plumbing, etc.) malfunction and are dismantled? or maybe they appear when you're standing around holding a sign with no real intellectual engagement so your mind is free to wander?
