Greetings,
Today Aug 19th 2020 I am formally announcing the formation of
INCOTA: The International Coalition of Tarot Artists

INCOTA is our response to the gross proliferation of counterfeit Tarot (Oracle and other) decks being printed and sold all over the world.

This is an issue that affects the entire Tarot community: artists, publishers, all selling platforms and shops, buyers/collectors, readers, and every legitimate purveyor of goods and services to the international Tarot community.

Fighting this scourge alone will never be as effective as fighting together.
As an organized group:

• Our voice is much louder and carries more weight.

• We can establish concrete goals and create an effective and unified strategy.

• We can be proactive instead of reactive.

• We can focus on partnering with providers of various services to establish productive, and healthy relationships with everyone on the same page, working toward the same clearly defined goals.

• We can find and root out the shops and websites pedalling counterfeits and use our power to take them down and stop them from easily setting up again.

• We can send counterfeiters back into the shadows of the internet and get them off the platforms we use.

• We can make their nefarious enterprises unprofitable by making it harder to get their fakes printed and distributed and by reducing demand for their purloined goods.

Those are just a few things the power of an organized group can accomplish.

1. All Deck Creators (Tarot, Oracle, Lenormand)
2. Restorers and Curators of Historical decks.
3. Writers of Tarot and related books and publications
4. Publishers of Tarot (and related) decks and books
5. Owners/Operators of Metaphysical shops

Well Ciro Marchetti just joined.

Very proud of that. He's sold over 1 million decks and it was his exasperated declaration that he'd no longer be creating decks because of all the thievery that really ignited this current effort to fight back.

We need more people now. Please spread the word.
