Is there a way to mention people in a way that notifies them?

Like @Joan Marie or whoever?

I feel like I may have asked this but I don't remember 😳

In case we wanna call a member into a thread, like if it's something they have an expertise in or something.
On my phone mainly so pardon the typos! Also if I seem more lucid than average, I'm probably typing on a PC. Hah!

There's no tagging mechanism on this site at present.
I believe in Crystal Light.
