Sign me up for a card, please. I have not yet read through this entire thread, but will do so today. And will check out the technical thread, etc., as well.

I just moved 400 miles from where I lived for most of my life, and the process of moving and settling in feels like a rebirthing in many ways. I want to create a card that expresses that sort of feeling around new beginnings, leaping into the unknown, and risk-taking. Sound good?

Can we create and contribute more than one card, if so inspired?

That sounds really good. great idea.

This is what is making this deck so great is people using the real way they are experiencing these times.

No matter what you are going through, these times are having an impact on every experience.

Thank you for joining us Blissful.

I would like to join too please, with something on the theme of returning triumphantly after setbacks, 'the comeback queen' card, if you will. Would that be ok? It will be paint, pencil and ink on paper and I will worry about making it digital at a later date!

I've submitted the art work and am ready to write the description/interpretation. What are the guidelines for the writing? Do you need a long and short version? How many words?

Hi, there is a shared online document for your text. I pm'd you the link.

You'll see on the doc some details, but basically you can write as much or as little as you like. Only one version is needed.
With Button Soup Tarot some people wrote quite a lot, others not so much, and it ended up just fine and fit perfectly into a 100-page booklet.

If any editing is needed I will contact you, but I feel like people should be able to say what they want about the card they made.

I woke up with an idea for another card. Is there still room? And when are they due?

Hi Pamela! Yes there is room for another card from you!

The soft deadline I have set is end of September.

I will try to get started this week. We're now on the final edits for the Eternal Seeker and I've been meeting deadlines since mid-July. This is supposed to be the last one before it goes to print.

That's great! I'm extending the soft deadline to middle of October. Hopefully that gives people enough time. Will that work for you?

Has it been finally decided how many cards there'll be?

Because it is an Oracle deck, I think it doesn't have to be a fixed number, however, for printing purposes I don't want to exceed 64 (that's 2 sheets, 32 cards each at this size we are making.

I have asked people to not make more than 3. One artist has contributed more but they may not all be used. I am considering lifting that limit as we near 64 because starting with card 33, the cost for printing is basically the same as 64.

I don't think we will have any trouble exceeding 32, and I have extended the "deadline" (in quotes) to mid October.

So I guess what I am getting at here, is if anyone who has already contributed 3 cards and would like to make more, I will use them as long as the total is 64 or less. If it is over we'll have to make some cuts. I think we all agree that the more artists represented the better. There have been a few people who have jumped in just in the last day or so, in fact I have 2 pieces to get posted today from someone who just contacted me earlier this week.

This project has always been in the spirit of "freestyle" that is a positive reflection of the general spirit of this year which has ranged between surprise and chaos. I love the way everybody is on board to ride this wave and see where we get.

I've extended the deadline and we have room for as many as 20 more new cards.

I'm hoping to get this on Kickstarter before the end of November.
Fingers crossed!

It's such a beautiful deck really. I have big hopes for it.
