this is seen at the " individual will" number, the leadership number.. it has its shadow,,
overbearing leadership.. too much will at the expense of others.

1. the rider

as the prime number of 1, this card shows the example of will,, the rider is ridering using its will to be on with the horse,, to get the horse to do his will. in the book it speaks of good news about what we have been expecting. so in a way our expressive will has come to fruitation.

it speaks of bad intentions as the rider dark will is being expressed, like a person evil plan is about to take place to our surpise.

this is the individual will on the spiritual level which means it is an expression of our spiritual being.. if we can connect to our spiritual selves ,, through that connection we can be one in the expression of our souls.

10 . scythe(1+0=1)

this card speaks traditionally of cutting away the old life, but more importantly of the hard work necessary to start the new life. sometimes you as a leader have to make executive decisions in order for the good of the business.

the leader is unable to make the decisions to cut the field. perhaps he is too weak to do the necessary work.

it is the individual will on the mental level which means without any emotion holding us back we must express our true individual will by cutting out that which no longer serves.. still I think of the scythe I still think of the harvest.. it is time to harvest what we sowed. or what is the purpose of individual will ?

19. the tower (1+9=10, 1+0=1)

the one hand you have excellent high ground, with excellent defense.. the leader knows the place of power. with that power of knowledge we can make better our plans.

the leader has foolishly choosen a bad place. or knows they can't win. (although in the return of the king.. the king of rohan knew they couldn't win,, but they would meet the enemy none the less to go out with a blaze of glory. )

this is the individual will in the emotional world, which means for us to be individual we have to set ourselves apart from the masses ,, and that puts us aside from the group mentality,, and so we can see what is best for the group without attachment to what the various parts of the group wants.

28. the gentleman (2+8=10, 1+0=1)

the ideal of one,, he is a very strong man, but gentle (hence gentleman ) in his expression of the leadership.

he is the dark expression of willful leadership , he is overbearing,, harsh..sometimes a person needs a harsh taskmaster...

as the invidiual will is expressed in the physical.. the gentleman it is the ideal that we should be seeking perhaps a self made man,, who is strong in the mind and spirit for he can not be easily influenced..
