Tarocco Ligure Piemontese - Solleone 1979

Tarocco Ligure Piemontese - Solleone 1979
Antonio Rossi, Alessandria, Italy, circa 1874/1879 approx.

I just received this deck today and the cards are musty, so I’m airing them out on what used to the “Orchid Table”.
Giving away the orchids to my cat's veterinary office was good timing.

The Majors are airing out on a large sheet of corrugated cardboard, actually, it’s an unfolded storage box.

It’ll probably take about 3 months to properly air out and the chilly nights will certainly help.

This deck is from 1979 and came from Italy, probably “breathing in” the Mediterranean sea air for the last 41 years, hence they’re musty.
They may very well have been sitting in an old closet or desk drawer for that amount of time and forgotten until recently.

Since I have these all laid out anyway, I thought I would share these with you.

It’s a wonderful deck :D
