Tarot and card players engraved by Mitelli in the 17th Century

Post by giordanoberti »

Dear Tarot friends,
today I want to share with you an article dedicated to the world of TAROTS and PLAYING CARDS in the ART of one of the most ingenious inventors of games of all time: Giuseppe Maria Mitelli.

-> Do you know Giuseppe Maria Mitelli?
-> Did you know that in the second half of the 17th century he created a splendid Tarot deck (on which I wrote a book) and 33 board games?
-> Did you know that Mitelli also produced gambling scenes?

On these scenes I wrote an article that reveals the thought of the great artist.
