Re: JRR Tolkien, Middle Earth and the Great Converstaion

Oh thank you for picking this up and for sharing these wonderful reading explorations in conversation with the stories of Middle Earth. To be honest, I let fear get the better of me and never picked this thread up to start my own exploration with the card and these stories. I felt I didn't dare touc...

Re: A new cartomancy deck with a twist

Those cards are lovely and I love the idea behind this deck. I'm not as familiar with Cyprian and José Leitão as I feel like someone like me should be. So consider me completely intrigued and excited about this project :) Oh thank you. I will definitely keep you updated here. I hope to be sharing m...

A new cartomancy deck with a twist

I'm currently working on creating a Cyprian-ic deck of cards, (Saint Cyprian of Antioch). These past couple of months I've spent them drawing and drawing and drawing, spending most of my free time hunched over a piece of paper, with a pencil on hand, scribbling away, practicing and decoding each of ...

but it's my only extravagance. I think of all the money I'm saving because of the lockdown. I have spent basically nothing on clothes, haircuts or hair products, cosmetics, shoes. There just isn't any point since the only place I ever go is the grocery store and the street market. Everything else h...

Re: What's the Deck-Stork bringing?

Got my Rare Triumphs Tarot Cards today! Physically it's a joy: poker sized, nice slippery linen, pretty coated box. I was fascinated by Ian's take on the trumps, influenced by the Mantegna and other historic decks, but with a new slant. It includes a slip of paper with three lines on each trump. Fr...

Re: Halloween Reading Circle 2020: Qndynes reads for Charlie Brown

Hello Charlie Brown, so I sat down this morning to complete the reading and I shuffled a good long while and searched for Halloween spreads. To be honest I don't' use spreads when reading the cards so I found it quite challenging finding one that fit your question. So I thought of just pulling three...

Re: WIP- Qndynes and the trees

It feels like you're super drawn to the trees. :) It's a very cool effect. Oh they're truly majestic trees, they can spread out and take over all manner of terrain, and they grow and expand almost as if this is their way of walking. I find them inspiring companions for myself and my life, and beaut...

Re: WIP- Qndynes and the trees

I've finally submitted my card for the Oracle and wrote the excerpt in the google doc sheet for the guidebook. I'm definitely looking forward to the image in a card with the rest of the cards. In the meantime, I wanted to share that my photo is of a clump of trees from the Ficus family, which are tr...

Hi Qndynes, Before I do, I'd like to ask you if there are any particular areas or kinds of readings that you think you either have more or less affinity for than others. Oh hm well I'm open to anything, all questions welcome really, spiritual areas included. Spirits, hauntings, etc, day to day thin...

Re: Halloween: Amoroso reads for qndynes

Just to clarify: what do you mean by monsters of the detrimental kind? Will these be monsters that lurk in your psyche, actual persons you must be wary of, or something more supernatural? In any case, I already have a spread in mind. It's not my own creation, but it seems very apt to the spirit (he...

Hi! I'm looking forward to this and to seeing what spread and deck you use as well, I know it's going to be terror-ific! Let me see a question... What monsters (of the detrimental kind) should I be on the lookout for this fall season, up till December let's say? Definitely open to fun spre...

Re: HALLOWEEN CIRCLE

Oh gosh I would love to join but I don't have any Halloween themed decks. Maybe the English Magic deck can count because of the colors? I don't have a lot of tarot decks and themed ones less  As I said, I'll leave it to you. I'm almost as curious about English magic as I am about English women...

Oh so great to hear that a lot of things aligned with how you saw the situation. I think it's interesting you bring up that question about whether I picked up on your vibes. Re: What's the Deck-Stork bringing?

I agree, I've had my eye on a couple of LoScarabeo historical reproductions but haven't gone and purchased any yet. They do look beautiful. Tarot purchases on frequent for me lately, so I think about it extra long before buying a tarot deck. On another note, the Rana George Lenormand finally arrived...
