Gentle Tarot by Mari in the Sky

An indigenous-made, colorful, nature-inspired tarot deck with art influenced by life in remote Alaska.

Although on the surface The Gentle Tarot may not sound radical, the creator believes that self-awareness offers
pathways to resistance and liberation from oppressive social and political structures:

“When we really believe in ourselves and we strive for our full potential we are resisting, especially
Indigenous people or others who have been oppressed, if we are able to stay true to our fire, that is our way to wholeness.”

Card titles have been modified: Page, Knight, Queen, King are now Seed, Root, Flower, Harvest. Swords are Thunder and Pentacles are Stones.
The Gentle Tarot provides a space to reconnect to our natural environment and ecosystem,
as the creator believes this connection or lack of connection is important for our mental health.

The art of these cards attempts to bridge the gap and remind us of the power and love found there.

Ghetto Tarot by Alice Smeets

The Ghetto Tarot mixes the magical with the real world and inspires to connect our imagination; the mystical and ancient tarot cards come alive in this modern, vivid and provocative deck.

The Ghetto Tarot is a photographic interpretation of the traditional tarot deck in the ghetto.

The scenes are inspired by the Rider Waite Tarot deck (originally designed in 1909 by artist Pamela Colman Smith) and are replicated by a Belgian photographer together with a group of Haitian artists called Atis Rezistans (resistant artists) in the Haitian slums using only material they were able to find or create locally.

The cards are size 9x13,5cm (3,45x5,3inches) and come with a handbook that includes a description of the cards.

The Golden Age of Hollywood Tarot is a star-studded tarot deck lavishly designed from vintage film posters of the era, circa. 1930-1950.
A beautiful collector's item for fans of classic film and tarot alike, the deck is crafted from accepted tarot principles to facilitate readings.

The Minors are divided between the major studios of the day - as there were 8, each suit is comprised of 2.
The Aces indicate both studios, as well as a film which exemplifies each respective suit's style.
The Court cards are comprised of celebrated movie stars from the era, with attention to their enduring legacy as well as their real-life relationships with one another. The Knaves are all comedians.
The Majors represent larger concepts and behind the scene intrigues of the Studio System.

The images used are culled from movie posters from the introduction of the talkies in 1929 to the first HUAC committee and the Anti-Trust verdict brought against the major studios in 1949.

The Golden Hermetic and Fortune Telling (GHaFT) Tarot deck is a traditional 78-cards Tarot deck on 70mm x 121mm, 2.75" x 4.75" smooth, 300gsm professional quality card stock.
Far as I know, it is the first Tarot deck printed with embossed high gloss technology.

The addition of raised high gloss printing with a touch and feel dimension to the cards make the difference! The added gloss to specific/selected design elements of the card brings out the artwork to life.
Also, a special varnish for these cards makes they handle and shuffle smoothly just as beautifully as they look.

To some extent, the GHaFT Tarot deck is a modern re-rendering of the legendary Papus deck. The drawings of Gabriel Goulinat inspired most of the Major Arcana cards.
The Court Cards follows the style, touch and woodcut feel of the Tarot of Marseille, while the design of the Numerals is geometrical pattern based which facilitates identifying the cards and the connections between the cards easily.

The Guided Hand Tarot is a hand-collaged Tarot deck, created by artist and illustrator Irene Mudd.

It was self-published through Kickstarter in March 2018, and has since been sold to tarot lovers around the world.

This deck approaches the ancient symbolism of the Tarot from a queered, feminist perspective.
It blurs many of the rigid gender binaries present in traditional tarot decks by representing queer and sometimes androgynous figures in place of many "male" or "female" archetypes.

The overall aesthetic of the deck is vibrant, colorful and tactile, as it was created by hand through a combination of collage, painting, and embroidery.
